Clinical Research Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our physician-led clinical research team. This role is designed as a structured training and advancement pathway, beginning with participant recruitment and progressing to full CRC responsibilities on both internal and industry-sponsored clinical trials.

Role Progression & Responsibilities
• Participant Recruitment & Pre-Screening
Learn to identify, engage, and evaluate treatment-seeking potential research participants
Conduct initial eligibility assessments and support informed consent workflows
Build strong communication skills with participants and their families
• Administrative & Study Operations Training
Learn the administrative foundations of clinical research, including documentation, scheduling, and protocol adherence
Integrate operational responsibilities alongside recruitment activities
• Transition to CRC Responsibilities
Gradually transition from recruitment-focused work to coordinating internal, self-sponsored clinical trials
Advance to industry-sponsored trials after demonstrating competency, reliability, and attention to detail
• Clinical & Procedural Training
• Receive hands-on training in medical and research procedures, with increasing complexity based on comfort and proficiency
• Opportunities to learn and safely perform:
Phlebotomy
Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
Additional study-specific clinical procedures
• Exposure to diagnostic and assessment tools, including opportunities to train in FibroScan and basic independent neuropsychiatric interviewing
• Professional Development & Education
Formal training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical research operations
Ongoing mentorship through small-group training sessions led by physicians
Development of collaborative skills within a multidisciplinary, multispecialty research team

    Physician Investigator, Psychiatrist

    Role Description
    This is a full-time on-site role for a physician located in Queens, New York. The Clinical physician will be responsible for overseeing trials, providing care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. They will provide specialized care and contribute to scientific research through rigorous and compassionate patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead study team as Sub-Investigator and eventually Principal, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol
      Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants
    • Educate potential participants about diseases and the benefits of clinical trial participation
    • Manage the safety of study participants; respond appropriately to adverse events in a timely manner
    • Provide medical leadership to our team and study coordinators

    Requirements

    • Valid license to practice medicine in New York
    • Board-certified/eligible in psychiatry
      Experience working with older adults in a clinical or research setting
    • Clinical research experience is preferred, but not required
    • A command of professional spoken and written English

    PhD-Level Neuropsychological Rater

    Role Description
    This is a full-time on-site role for a Neuropsychologist located in Queens, New York. The neuropsychologist will be responsible for administering cognitive assessments, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience administering structured and semi-structured cognitive assessments, including ADAS-Cog, MMSE, MoCa, MADRS, and other standardized scales used in clinical trials.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct neuropsychological assessments per protocol
    • Administer and score structured/semi-structured interviews (e.g., SCID, CDR)
    • Ensure adherence to GCP and sponsor training requirements
    • Maintain accurate source documentation and data integrity

    Requirements:

    • PhD or PsyD in Psychology, Neuropsychology, or related field
    • Clinical trials experience with CNS/Alzheimer’s preferred
    • Certification on rating scales a plus
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
